Junior Power Electronics Engineer

An exciting opportunity as a Junior Power Electronics Engineer is available at a well-established power solutions company based in Milton Keynes, UK. The role would be well-suited for ambitious, results-driven engineers looking to expand their technical skills and gain hands-on industry experience. 

The Junior Power Electronics Engineer will be heavily involved with the design and development of DC/DC and DC/AC converters for a wide range of applications. The engineer will also be involved in the creation of design specifications in collaboration with customer requirements, verification and validation of converters, and technical support. 

The ideal Junior Power Electronics Engineer will have:

• Good critical thinking skills
• Degree in Electronics or related fields.
• Experience in electronic component design
• Strong communication skills (written and spoken English)
• Understanding of power conversion design techniques from 1W to 100W
• Theoretical understanding of analogue electronics and magnetics, including transformer design
