Lead Electronics Engineer

I’m working with a leading SME based in Oxford, currently looking for an experienced Electronics Engineer to take ownership of all areas of electronics development. Leading a junior engineer, the Lead Electronics Engineer will be the technical point of contact for all elements of electronics. 

Joining an established business, and working with leading clients across the semiconductor industry, the Lead Electronics Engineer will be expected to balance line management whilst remaining hands-on and providing technical oversight. 

As the Lead Electronics Engineer, your position within the business will be crucial to the further development of the company's products, where you’ll be responsible for the design, development and testing of analog, digital and sensor-based applications. 

For this Lead Electronics Engineer vacancy, we’re interested in speaking with engineers with the following experience:

• Proven analogue electronics experience and strong knowledge of sensors, motor drive control, and low-power designs.
• Understanding of digital electronics
• Ability to guide PCB layout
• Low volume manufacturing
• Experience working in the semiconductor, instrumentation, or medical industry.
• Bonus - EMC or project management experience
