Lead Embedded ML Software Engineer

I am seeking a Lead Embedded ML Software Engineer to join my client; a promising start-up operating within the AI-chip space, whose technology offers significant improvements over others, in terms of speed and energy efficiency.

Please note this role requires a mixed skillset across embedded ML, hands-on yourself with coding responsibilities and the ability to naturally lead and mentor others. The work you and the team does here will ultimately be used by customers to develop close to hardware ML models for embedded systems.

Primary responsibilities

• Design and develop an embedded software backend library, and end-to-end software tools, to accelerate the next-gen of energy efficient AI-enabled devices.
• Manage, lead and continue to build the software team

Must have experience

• MSc or PhD in a relevant discipline
• Embedded software and systems development  
• Industry experience with embedded ML frameworks and networks that are commonly used to make a significant difference in terms of sustainability, power and energy e.g. TinyML
• BNNs (Binarized Neural Networks)
• C, C++, Python

Desired experience

• Hardware-software co-design and power/energy evaluation for embedded systems
