Located: Bristol or Harrogate.
Working model: Hybrid 2/3 days onsite per week.
IC Resources is excited to be partnered with an established business building the future of wireless technology. Following a recent announcement the client is seeking an FPGA Team Lead to build and manage a new team from scratch as part of a new business-critical project.
As an FPGA Team Leader, you will be at the forefront of cellular communication innovation. You'll lead a team of experienced FPGA engineers, driving the research and design of advanced cutting-edge 4G/5G-based products.

As an FPGA Team Leader, you will be at the forefront of cellular communication innovation. You'll lead a team of experienced FPGA engineers, driving the research and design of advanced cutting-edge 4G/5G-based products.
What You'll Do:
- Take the lead of a highly skilled FPGA team to drive FPGA architecture design/development activities.
- Oversee algorithm development for 4G/5G products.
- Oversee the implementation and verification of FPGA blocks for physical layer base station products.
- Lead FPGA blocks integration and debug processes to ensure seamless functionality.
- Contribute fresh ideas and innovation to enhance our product offerings.
Ideal Candidate's Technical Experience:
- Excellent understanding of FPGA architecture flows and characteristics.
- Proven experience in FPGA R&D product development.
- Experience in implementing cellular/wireless communication and signal processing algorithms.
- Good system understanding within a multi-disciplinary environment (HW, SW, SoC).
- Extensive working experience with Xilinx FPGAs and SoCs.
- Bonus: Previous experience as a Tech Lead or Team Leader.
