Lead Layout Enginer

This is an opportunity for an Analog Layout Engineer to join a team working on the development of innovative products based on NFC technology.

They are now looking for a Lead Layout Engineer to join their integrated circuits team in Graz, Austria.

The Roles of the Lead Layout Engineer include:

• Help to develop complex analog and power system modules for a variety of microcontrollers and across multiple procress nodes.
• Be responsible for the architecture and design of power systems.
• Lead the team of layout engineers and work closely with procress engineers and circuit designers.
• Conduct the layout design for a range of complex analog circuits such as ADCs, DACs, PLLs and power management blocks.
• Help to conduct layout reviews.
• Perform the physical verification of analog layout such as ERC, LVS and DRC.
• Conduct the documentation of design and layout procedures.

Additional requirements of the Lead Layout Engineer include:

• BSc or Msc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Experience with analog layout design to a mid level/senior level.
• Experience with high-frequency design considerations such as antenna effects
• Proficient in layout tools such as Cadence Virtuoso.

Strong communication and ability to work within a team is needed for this position.
