This is a great opportunity for you to join a growing Quality Assurance team and play a crucial role in maintaining the reputation of their world-class products.
As the Lead Quality Engineer, you will be a key member of the QA team responsible for overseeing and executing activities that uphold the exceptional quality and reliability of their products with 3 direct reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate and address any quality issues that may arise during production, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent re occurrence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance overall product quality and operational efficiency.
- Develop, implement, and maintain appropriate quality control procedures and processes to uphold our commitment to excellence.
- Establish and measure quality metrics, regularly reporting on the performance of our products and processes to management and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, regulations, and certifications.
- Manage and maintain documentation related to quality processes, adhering to company policies and facilitating easy access for relevant personnel.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing or technology-driven environment, preferably in the RF or semiconductor industry.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems, methodologies, and tools, such as Six Sigma and Lean principles.
- Solid knowledge of RF devices or packaged ICs, is advantageous.
- Familiarity with relevant quality and regulatory standards such as ISO9001
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct root cause analyses and implement effective corrective actions.
