This leading developer of high-speed chip to chip communications systems is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to expand their highly successful software team based in Lausanne or Dortmund. The Lead Software Engineer will be specifying and leading the development of Linux Kernel Drivers and associated SDKs for new silicon products. Working in a fast-moving HPC environment the Lead Software Engineer will be working with IC design experts ensuring smooth software integration.
You will be an experienced Embedded Software Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience developing and implementing Linux Kernel and Userspace Divers. You will have direct development experience with Linux persistent memory (pmem) and be no stranger to NVME memory and cache management. Optimising NUMA architectures and exposure to Linux memory control is beneficial as is a good knowledge of communication protocols including TCP/IP, TLS, Ethernet, I2C, SPI etc. Other useful experience includes: HPC environment knowledge, PCIe, SerDes and some command-line scripting
Candidates need to be based in, and fully authorised to work in, the EU.
