An exciting opportunity has become available for a Maintenance Engineer to join a Semiconductor Manufacturer based in Neuchatel, Switzerland.

As a Maintenance Engineer in the Photolithography and Metrology section, your responsibilities would include:
  • Enhancing the preventive, predictive, and curative maintenance of the equipment.
  • Perform regular equipment performance analysis through a PDCA methodology (RCA, Pareto, and Actions) by identifying key characteristics in collaboration with the process team.
  • Oversee 8Ds and Task Forces when necessary with all the stakeholders,
  • Define and mitigate the risks with equipment FMEA.
  • Support the technician’s team in terms of maintenance, methods, structured troubleshooting, and qualifications for production.
  • Develop the skills with training in order to increase the know-how in a sustainable manner.
  • Maintain and update documentation in the frame of the Quality System: procedures, checklists, standards and norms, information from equipment suppliers
  • Ensure clear and structured communication throughout the section and the Maintenance department
  • Be proactive with the suppliers by tracking the actions and by conducting recurrent interviews in order to have continuous support and efficiency for the interventions
  • Track and plan spare parts and service contract costs
  • Provide technical inputs on new equipment acquisitions; integrate this equipment from the start into the shopfloor until the management of the obsolescence
To be considered for the Maintenance Engineer opportunity, you will need:
  • HES Engineering degree or equivalent engineering degree
  • Previous experience of maintenance experience in Photolithography and/or Metrology area as an Engineer in the semiconductor industry.
  • Expertise on equipment required
  • Experience with external suppliers
  • Problem solving oriented - PDCA
  • 5S, 8D, Equipment FMEA, FDC (Maestria), GMAO, MSA, SPC
  • Fluent English skills with the ability to learn French.
