An exciting opportunity has become available for a Maintenance Technician to join a Semiconductor Manufacturer in Switzerland.

As a Maintenance Technician in the diffusion section, your responsibilities would include:
  • Prepare spare parts, documents, and tools necessary to perform the maintenance.
  • Follow the weekly planning which reports the preventive maintenance.
  • Perform curative maintenance on equipment.  
  • Troubleshoot and generate an action plan.
  • Monitor the performance of the equipment: (particles, leak-up rise, Etch rate, etc.).
  • Report and communicate the maintenance activity in the computer logbook (pass-down file).
  • Log the status of the equipment in the CAMSTAR system.
  • Be proactive and improve uptime, reliability, and safety of the equipment.
  • Interact with external suppliers or Field Service Engineers.
  • Track spare parts in the warehouse.  
  • Adjust the stock count on dedicated software.  
  • Propose improvement on equipment.
  • Creation of internal procedures (OPL / ITD / PM Checklist).
  • Follow training whenever possible (Internal training).
  • Follow improvement projects or equipment installations with the in-house project manager.
  • Piquet: the max frequency would be once per month (4 hours per day).
To be considered for the Maintenance Technician opportunity, you will need:
  • Electronic/Mechanic Technician (ET/ES or equivalent)
  • Min. 2 years of professional experience
  • Strong analytical capabilities, precise, rigorous, ability to work under pressure, flexibility, ability to adapt, and to work in a very dynamic team.
  • Pro-active and autonomous
  • Learning Agility.
  • Technical spirit and problem-solving.  
  • Fluent in English with the ability to learn French.
  • Willingness to work weekend shifts only (Friday, Saturday, Sunday).
