I am seeking a PhD-educated candidate with specific hands-on research experience tackling complex, unsolved quantization problems for AI chips. My client’s new tech is all based on years of ground-breaking research and the succesful ML Quantization Research Engineer will utilize their recent experience to solve problems that other AI chip companies have not yet solved! This is an excellent opportunity to join a funded AI-chip start-up and apply your expertise to quantization algorithms research and design for a new type of processor.

Essential experience

• PhD with a focus on Computer Science
• Quantization research and design, for machine learning workloads.
• Low precision computing
• ONNX, TVM
• PyTorch, TensorFlow

Desirable experience

• Relevant publications or patents
• Model quantization specifically for LLMs and/or analog computing
