I am currently looking for an experienced Operations Director to join a dynamic and rapidly growing start-up within the semiconductor instrumentation space.
My client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Director to join their exec team and start to build their operational processes across the business.
As the Operations Director, you will play a critical role in overseeing and optimising areas such as manufacturing, quality, supply chain and HR. You will collaborate closely with the executive team to develop and execute strategic plans, implement best practices, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute operational strategies to drive business objectives and ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Oversee and optimise supply chain management, including procurement, inventory control, and logistics.
- Implement robust processes and systems to improve productivity, streamline workflows, and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align operations with sales, marketing, and product development activities.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as an Operations Director or similar role in a fast-paced startup environment, preferably within the instrumentation or high-tech industry.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management, manufacturing processes, and quality control.
- Demonstrated success in optimising operations, driving process improvements, and implementing scalable solutions.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire teams.
