Adel Eisa
Sales Director
Our client, a deep tech start-up is looking to hire a part-time CEO and raise their next funding round. They have already successfully delivered product to the market and are revenue generating. They have also secured a high profile global partnership. Future funding and growth is dependent on the hiring of a Commercially led CEO who will represent our client to the investor community and also drive/lead commercial engagements.
Initially this will be a part-time role (2/3 days per week) with a competitive full-time CEO salary and equity post-funding. Funding is expected to take 3-6 months as there are already interested investors.
Whilst the current revenue is HaaS (hardware as a service), the goal is to pivot the business to more of a SaaS(software as a service) model.
Candidates interested in this role should have proven experience of fundraising within early stage start-ups. In addition this person will have a hands-on commercial approach and will initiate new client engagements and create new partnerships with industry providers. You will be experienced at working with the investor community and also have an affinity to technology/ or the education sector.
There is a limited runway, hence the initial role will be part-time. My client is based in the North-West UK, but some hybrid working is possible.
