IC Resources is seeking a PHY Development Engineer to join our client's team in Berkshire, UK. The successful PHY Development Engineer will be responsible for designing and PHY (physical) layer features and algorithms for 5G wireless systems at both the algorithm and DSP level on target hardware, contributing to cutting-edge advancements in wireless technology.

Essential Experience:

• BSc or MSc in Telecommunications, DSP or similar.
• 3+ years of experience in PHY (physical) layer development in C/C++ for wireless communication systems, 4G and/or 5G
• PHY layer signal processing algorithm design, optimisation, and implementation on industry-standard DSPs.
• Communication and DSP fundamentals; algorithm development for channel estimation, equalisation, and channel decoding.

What’s On Offer:

• £60-85k DOE
• Hybrid working (4 days onsite weekly)
