PIC R&D Process Engineer

Our Zurich based client is currently searching for a R&D Process Engineer within the PIC technology world. The role will involve designing, developing and implementing innovative process modules within state of the art R&D and production clean-rooms. Working closely with photonic R&D teams will be required as well as assisting in integrating new processes into production ensuring they meet the highest quality and reliability standards.

Required skills for the PIC R&D Process Engineer will include:

• Strong integrated photonics process development experience 
• Semiconductor process experience (e-beam lithography, UV/DUV stepper lithography, contact mask lithography, DLW, plasma etching (ICP, RIE, IBE, etc.), wet etching, thin-film deposition (CVD, LPCVD, PECVD, Sputtering, etc.), and metallisation)
• Strong analytical skills and excellent communication skills
• Degree (Master or PhD) in Photonics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field
