An exciting opportunity as a Power Electronics Engineer is available at a well-established company based in Newcastle. The role would suit experienced, proactive engineers looking to build upon their existing design and development skills.

The main responsibility of the role is the design and development of motor drives for automotive and industrial machines, alongside the undertaking of thermal simulations as part of the development cycle and the validation of product designs.

The Ideal Power Electronics Engineer will have;

• Motor drive design experience
• Testing and thermal simulation experience
• Knowledge of Ansys Motor Design Software
