Principal Analog IC Design Engineer

This is an opportunity to join a well established team based in the Swindon area. Working on circuit design for Automotive and high-performance sensor ASICs they are currently seeking a Principal Analog IC Design Engineer.

In this role the Principal Analog IC Design Engineer will lead system-level definition of new ASICs and implement transistor level solutions in CMOS technology. You will be a versatile engineer with an intimate knowledge of the fundamentals who is has proven IC lead experience and can design a variety of blocks.  

This role would suit a talented and enthusiastic self-starter; someone who wants to take initiative and who can take on a broad responsibility, show system level thinking and help shape architecture.

Working within the ASIC Systems team you will take on responsibility for the specification of products as well as transistor-level design, working closely with others in the wider team and take products from initial specification through to start of production.

The successful Principal Analog IC Design Engineer will play a key role in defining and developing future products by:

• Interfacing with internal and external customers to capture system-level requirements
• Defining product concepts and specifications resulting in winning architectures and solutions to meet the need of our current and future customers
• Contributing across the whole design cycle: ideation, transistor-level design through to post-tapeout

Industry qualified you will have excellent communication and leadership skills. You will have established experience in Analog Mixed Signal IC Design including the design of references, ADCs, DACs, LDOs and oscillators and will have the ability to work closely with key customers and understand their priorities.
