A rapidly-growing Dutch Semiconductor company that develops ultra-efficient processors for AI at the edge is looking for a Principal Analog IC Designer to architect and design cutting-edge custom components. The role involves defining and de-risking new concepts and architectures, as well as hands-on design and development activities pre- and post-silicon.

In this role, you will :
- Lead the specification, design, optimisation, layout and testing of custom analog components and sub-systems, interface components such as ADC's and DAC's and bandgaps.
- Work together with neuromorphic and other circuit design experts to develop novel circuit concepts, as well as techniques and methods to optimise circuit behaviour
- Collaborate with a team of hardware architects, digital design engineers, and application engineers
- Participate in the creation of new IP
- PhD/MSc with 7+ years of relevant industrial experience in designing low-power analog circuits
- At least 5+ years of experience in actual ASIC tapeouts of blocks like ADC, PLL, TIA and others in deep-submicron processes (preferably 65nm and below)
- Profound knowledge of low-power techniques, circuit- and transistor-level design, layout and verification
- Exp[erience with lab equipment and proficient in measurement techniques for silicon validation/characterisation
- Knowledge of neuromorphic concepts is a plus
- Cadence Virtuoso, MMSIM/Spectre
- System-level modelling and simulation of analog and mixed-signal circuits (Verilog-AMS/-A)
- MATLAB
