Principal Embedded Engineer

Principal Embedded Software Engineer to join global market leading company based in central Bristol.  Suitable Principal Embedded Software Engineer will have strong academics and 8 yrs to 15 years hands on embedded real time development expertise - ideally FreeRTOS and ARM architectures. Strong C programming / assembler / networking knowledge.  It would be beneficial to have safety critical expertise with knowledge of safety software standards: IEC 61508, DO 178B/C, ISO26262, IEC 61508, IEC 62304 .

The successful Principal Embedded Software Engineer will work alongside industry experts developing our clients portfolio of embedded software products.  

I am seeking someone who wants a long-term hands-on opportunity with potential to mentor and lead more junior team members if desired.  Your career history should show a track record of permanent work with commitment to positions and projects.

Salary £60k to £70k plus excellent benefits, flexible hybrid working and visa support is on offer.
