Collaborate with a dynamic group of RF experts to pioneer technology for cutting-edge cellular handsets and wireless communication devices. Your primary focus will be on designing acoustic filters, leveraging SAW and BAW technology, for RF front-end modules. - Design acoustic wave filters for integration into RF modules, adhering to tight schedules, top-notch performance standards, and cost-effective solutions.
- Implement best engineering practices to ensure reliability, sustainability, and high production yield.
- Innovate new architectures and concepts to enhance filter and module performance, maintaining a competitive edge.
- Conduct design reviews and present data demonstrating compliance with internal and customer specifications through simulation and measurement.
- Collaborate with module and systems teams to establish appropriate performance goals for filters.
- Interface with technology and fabrication teams to drive continuous performance enhancements and guide business unit roadmaps.
- Develop design methodologies to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and first-pass success.
- Lead module co-design efforts, collaborating with PA, LNA, switch, MCM, and other teams for comprehensive performance optimisation.
- Extensive expertise in acoustic filter and multiplexer designs, proficient in various filter design facets.
- Thorough understanding of RF fundamentals including impedance matching, distributed systems, passive RLC and resonant circuits, noise, linearity, bandwidth, and stability.
- Proficiency in PA/LNA filter co-design and RF integration.
- Strong circuit simulation skills using Agilent ADS/Cadence and 2.5/3D EM tools like Momentum or HFSS.
- Substantial experience in EM simulation of filters or multi-chip modules (MCM).
- Hands-on experience in problem-solving and lab debugging from prototype to mass production.
- Proven track record in developing RF filters/multiplexers for cellular applications.
- Deep comprehension of cellular RF systems.
- Demonstrated abilities in project management and talent supervision.
