Principal ILS Engineer

I am currently looking for a Principle ILS Engineer to join a dynamic and rapidly expanding company at the forefront of satellite communications technology. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and maintainability of our AESA systems.

As the Principal ILS Engineer, you will take charge in identifying and developing Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) requirements within their AESA system for installation, maintenance, reliability, built-in test, repairs, and spares. You will act as the subject matter expert on matters related to safety, reliability, and maintenance, driving excellence in product supportability. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop ILS requirements within the AESA system, ensuring alignment with installation, maintenance, reliability, built-in test, repairs, and spares.
• Conduct technical investigations and analysis of the AESA system, providing valuable data to drive design improvements and enhance system performance from an ILS perspective.
• Create and maintain the reliability management process and plan, continuously improving product reliability.
• Review and evaluate the inherent logistics requirements of existing AESA systems, providing expert input on requirement documents, design documents, and test reports.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, production, procurement, and quality assurance teams to integrate logistics considerations seamlessly into the product development and design process.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) within the satellite communications or aerospace industry.
• Strong technical background with a deep understanding of AESA systems.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a commitment to driving excellence.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
