Key Responsibilities as a Principal RF Engineer:
- Design and Validation: Develop and validate RF/Microwave passive and active components, including filters, power dividers/couplers, power amplifiers (PA), low-noise amplifiers (LNA), high-purity clock generators, transceiver chains, and up/down converters.
- System Analysis and Simulation: Perform detailed analysis and simulation of high-frequency systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Design Optimization: Enhance new and existing designs to improve manufacturability, assembly, and testing efficiency.
- Prototype Management: Oversee the manufacturing and assembly of prototypes, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency.
- Test Development: Create comprehensive test methodologies and verification plans for all analog functional blocks, accompanied by thorough documentation.
- Performance Evaluation: Conduct laboratory tests and utilize specific test facilities to rigorously evaluate component performance.
- Debugging and Corrections: Analyze test results, troubleshoot assembly circuits, and implement necessary design corrections.
- Production Preparation: Prepare designs for batch production, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and specifications.
- RF Transceiver Expertise: Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing RF transceiver chains.
- Advanced Knowledge: Proficiency in Software Defined Radio (SDR) and Digital Signal Processing (DSP).
- Antenna Design: Strong understanding of antenna design principles.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and testing purposes.
