Senior Principal Electronics Engineer
Salary: £80,000 - £85,000k plus benefits.
Located: Cambridge
Working model: 4 days per week.

They’ve been expanding their hardware division as part of their latest growth plans; they’re seeking a dynamic Senior Principal Electronics Engineer.
As a Senior Principal Electronics Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in the entire product development lifecycle. Reporting to the Baseband Team Leader, you'll lead the design of electronic systems, from concept to production. Your expertise will be crucial in driving innovation, solving complex challenges, and mentoring our talented engineering team.

As a Senior Principal Electronics Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in the entire product development lifecycle. Reporting to the Baseband Team Leader, you'll lead the design of electronic systems, from concept to production. Your expertise will be crucial in driving innovation, solving complex challenges, and mentoring our talented engineering team.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Analyse and understand project requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Design and specify digital baseband circuitry for radio and accessory products.
- Lead subsystem design integration with RF, Audio, and MMI subsystems.
- Handle component specification sourcing and supervise PCB layout rules.
- Resolve design and integration issues and provide type approval support.
- Support production and end customers, conduct progress reporting, and mentor team members.
- Proven industry experience with demonstrated electronics design.
- Proficient in microprocessor and microcontroller designs.
- Experience with memory subsystems such as DDR, NAND, eMMC and communication interfaces including USB, SPI, I2C, MIPI.
- Working knowledge of low-power circuit design.
- EMC/ESD protection design experience.
