Product Manager

Based in Herisau, Switzerland, this is an excellent opportunity for a Product Manager to join a market leader in optical connectivity solutions.   Our client has a long history of excellence within the connectivity field. On the back of strong profitability and business expansion they have a need for a Product Manager with a background in technical hardware development to help them ensure full market competitiveness over the entire product lifecycle. The Product Manager will have a key role in developing, implementing and maintaining the product strategy, gathering direct feedback from customers and also delivering training. The role will involve some international travel, up to 30%.   For this role you will need to have:  

• A University degree, either in Engineering or Business, with an aptitude to learn
• An excellent understanding of lifecycle management for hardware products
• Knowledge of high-frequency components is preferred
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (German is a plus)
• Eligibility to work within the EU
