Fixed-term Maternity Cover Contract - Cambridge based - Product Owner / Product Definition Engineer

IC Resources is  working with a long-term client to help find a contractor to join them for a 6-month fixed-term contract to support their Radio development team. As the right engineer you will be comfortable working alongside their internal SCRUM teams to support with current backlogs, representing Product Managers at SCRUM ceremonies and alongside Project Managers to provide updated reports and prioritise the workload. You will also be responsible for define the functionality of their radio products, work with the expected technical standards, alongside the Product Managers and Senior Development engineers to bring product ideas to life. 

You will also have a good technical background with Embedded software development working with standards such as 3GPP or ETSI and preferably with communication protocols such as USC, Wifi, Bluetooth, GPS, GSM, TETRA or 4G/5G/LTE.

This role has been determined as Inside of IR35 on a fixed-term basis.

Key Points:

• Product owner and product definition experience
• Embedded software experience
• Have previous experience working with wireless communications development for radio products or similar
• FTC for Maternity Cover
