Programme Manager

This is a great opportunity for a Programme Manager to join a global manufacturer of electronic components and RF power solutions for groundbreaking commercial and military applications.

As Programme  Manager you will be responsible for successfully leading multi-disciplined teams, through initiation, planning, design and delivery of New Product Introduction processes. In this position there is the responsibility to support the sales function with bid activity, preparing estimates, supporting bid review processes to defined turnaround times. You will play a key role in improving efficiency, proactive cost reduction and controlled risk mitigation within the programmes.  

Requirements:

• Proven track record of successful programme completion to deliver committed objectives
• Strong financial and commercial awareness
• Ability to work with teams at all levels of the business
• A manufacturing and/or engineering background in Defence sector would be advantageous
• PRINCE,  Association for Project  Management (APM) or Information Systems Examination
• Degree level educated or equivalent
• Use of project management resource tools such as MS project and earned value
• Direct customer interface management
• Full life cycle management of product development
