Quality Assurance Manager - Cambridge

Our client, a well respected semiconductor manufacturer, with their product used for multiple applications, is looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the existing quality management system while ensuring quality assurance processes are sustained throughout the team. This role will play a significant part in the company processes and operations.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a quality management system that meets the requirements of ISO9001:2015, including creating efficient processes and promoting continuous improvement.
• Continually improve performance across the team for customers, shareholders, employees and suppliers.
• Work closely with all teams in manufacturing and development to understand quality requirements and troubleshoot quality-related issues.
• Create quality processes and associated documentation.
• Provide quality management training to employees.

Essential:

• Demonstrated experience in maintaining ISO9001 quality management systems.
• Proven experience in the Semiconductor manufacturing industry from a quality aspect.
• Proven track record of root cause analysis and fault finding.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well in a multidisciplinary product team, exhibiting excellent communication skills and time management to successfully drive projects.
• 8D/RCA experience

Desirable:

• Experience with assessment bodies and as a Qualified Internal Auditor for ISO 9001:2015.
• Experience with ISO14001.
• Automotive Quality Experience
