A world renown Semiconductor company in Zurich is looking for a Mixed Signal IC Designer with programming skills in Python, C++, Julia, Shell to join their research lab to develop AI for Chip Design.
In your role as Mixed Signal IC Designer you will contribute to projects related to the optimisation of Mixed Signal designs, run automated tests and simulations on existing layouts, and retrieve their performance
You will support the research community by developing groundbreaking data structures, for the processing of Chip Design data. Write reports and give presentations for internal audiences and have the opportunity to publish papers on top-tier venues.
You will write code to support research, usually in Python, C++, Julia, Shell scripting and work closely with a team of AI researchers and engineers in the US, Switzerland, and Japan on ambitious AI projects.
The successful Mixed Signal IC Designer has the following skills and qualifications:

The successful Mixed Signal IC Designer has the following skills and qualifications:
- MSc. or Ph.D. in Microelectronics Engineering and relevant work experience with a track record of developing analog/digital designs and some relevant work experience post-degree ideally in the area of sensor IC's.
- Excellent publication track-record in fields related to hardware design.
- Knowledge of mixed-signal design and SPICE, Verilog, Synopsis/Mentor/Cadence tool set, etc.
- Solid programming skills using Python, C++ and Shell scripting
- Excellent oral and written English
