We are working with a leading consultancy based in Cambridge looking to bring in an RF Systems Design Lead to assist with contributing to innovative projects across the industry.

As an RF Systems Design Lead, you will need a deep understanding of the underlying principles and engineering aspects of real-world systems with a foundation in radio technology. Experience in defining and engineering new radio communications and/or radar systems is crucial.

You will also translate client requirements into feasibility studies and conduct systems-level analyses. In addition to your technical proficiency, you will excel at explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical clients. These initial activities will be followed by the creation of prototype system block diagrams and module specifications, leading to specific work packages shared among the design team. Depending on the project, you will have the opportunity to apply your schematic-level design and practical test/development skills.

Your background will encompass RF electronics design at the circuit level, along with experience in designing radio transceivers.

This role as an RF Systems Design Lead also provides an opportunity for you to exercise your technical leadership skills, collaborating with a team to transform exciting new ideas from concept to reality. You will work alongside a supportive and experienced group of subject matter experts, while also mentoring talented recent graduates.
