As a result, they are seeking their next RF Validation Engineer!
Responsibilities for the RF Validation Engineer:
- Developing and executing comprehensive test plans to assess the performance of RF Front End components.
- Writing Python scripts to automate testing processes using PXI systems and RF instruments.
- Collecting and analysing data to verify RF performance under various operating conditions, including temperature, voltage, and manufacturing variations.
- Utilising Python, SQL, Jupyter, and PyQt to manage data, create visualisations, and develop user interfaces.
- Debugging and resolving issues encountered during testing, collaborating closely with design, application, and software teams.
- Documenting test procedures, results, and technical specifications for internal reference.
- Configuring and managing test equipment to support performance characterisation from component-level to full system operation, including SoC bring-up.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with RF circuits, including amplifiers, filters, mixers, and oscillators, along with relevant measurement techniques.
- Proficiency in PVT characterisation and experience in testing hardware and firmware, including automation, integration, and lab failure troubleshooting.
- Strong skills in data management, data visualisation, and conducting large-scale automation lab testing.
- Experience working with lab equipment such as PXIe, spectrum analysers, network analysers, digitising oscilloscopes, signal generators, DMMs, and programmable power supplies.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with software tools like MATLAB, Keil, and Excel.
- Experience with microcontroller programming in C, including knowledge of peripheral interfaces and their integration into embedded systems.
- Knowledge of version control software such as GIT.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
