Working for a cutting edge semiconductor company, I have a Senior R&D position which focuses on HW-SW co-design & architecture.
You will be part of key R&D projects for complex CPU architecture requirements for AI applications.
Offering excellent salaries, circa €100k and above - based on years and relevance of experience.
The HW-SW co-design Architect will define compute, memory, and power requirements for AI use cases, which will guide hardware and software implementation decisions for future generations of devices.
I am looking for senior engineers with experience in HW-SW co-design of processor architecture; e.g. IPU / IMU / NPU / VPU - vision processors / AI vision sensors / hardware accelerators / VPU - vectors / GPU algorithms / computer arithmetic / FPU - floating point units / out of order cores.

Key skills
- BSc / MSc / PhD in Electronics Engineering or similar related field
- At least 10 years’ experience related to hardware - software co-design and architecture / micro-architecture
- a solid background in CPU / RISC-V / DSP development
- Strong design experience within any of the following: Memory Systems - DDR / HBM, cache coherency / embedded CPU, firmware, Custom ISA
- Skills in system C / C / C++
- Excellent coding and automation skills - APIs, CI/CD, DevOps, OpenCL etc
- algorithm development and implementation
- frameworks - PyTorch, Tensorflow, numby, pandas
- performance / modelling / simulation - System C, TLM, UML
- memory systems / hierachies - DDR, HBM
