Senior Application Engineer - Embedded Software

A Senior Application Engineer – Embedded Software is sought by this leading multi-national developer of video processing systems for ADAS applications. Based in Düsseldorf the Senior Application Engineer – Embedded Software will be responsible for developing proof of concept software for video processing applications. The Senior Application Engineer – Embedded Software will be working closely with customer development teams supporting their video feature and development projects.

You will be an experienced Embedded Software Engineer with proven hands-on development skills using C and C++ preferably gained in a Linux and / or QNX environment. You will need experience with video processing and camera sensors with some exposure to working at SoC level for camera bring-up etc. Any exposure to image quality, video encoding, bare-metal level development or image rendering would be beneficial. You need to be happy and confident dealing with customers at all levels.
