Senior Applications Engineer

A Senior Applications Engineer is sought by a well-established semiconductor company based just outside of Bern. The Senior Applications Engineer will be responsible for solution and system specification of semiconductor devices and board level electronics in collaboration with customer requirements. This hands-on role will also be involved in the design and validation of power supplies and will work closely with the IC design team in order to ensure system requirements are met throughout the IC implementation process.

The ideal Senior Applications Engineer will have:

• Understanding of Flyback, forward and half bridge power conversion topologies.
• Experience in Power Electronics Design.
• Experience with simulation tools.
• Good English language skills, both written and verbal (any German language skills would be advantageous).
• Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
