An exciting opportunity for a Senior Database Engineer has arisen with a world class research and development organisation, developing next generation technology, based in Edinburgh.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Database Engineer to join the database team, developing transactional and analytical data management systems. This will include collaborating with academics and researchers, perform system research, analyse requirements of database storage and design, implement and deploy technical building blocks for data management and processing systems.

You will be required onsite 5 days a week.

Experience of the Senior Database Engineer will include:

• Implementation of database management or similar low-level systems
• Comfortable with research methodology
• System design and implementation
• Proficient with a system level programming language, i.e. C, C++, Rust
