Job Title: DFT Team Lead – Senior Technical Leader
Location: Paris or Grenoble (Full remote working within Europe could be considered)

About the Opportunity:
Are you an experienced DFT professional looking for a new challenge as a DFT Team Lead? We are seeking a dynamic and skilled DFT Team Lead to join our client’s Design Team, where you’ll lead and shape DFT architecture and implementation for advanced CMOS SoCs used in innovative applications. This is an exciting opportunity to head a talented team, driving complex DFT initiatives and making a substantial impact on quality, yield, and performance in industry-leading ASICs and SoCs.

Key Responsibilities:
As the DFT Team Lead, you will be responsible for:
  • Leading all DFT activities for multiple circuits, ensuring close collaboration with R&D and physical implementation teams to drive successful outcomes.
  • Defining and executing DFT architecture, methodology, and flows on highly complex SoC designs, ensuring seamless integration from RTL to physical implementation.
  • Managing production launches, providing ATPG test patterns, validating test methodologies, and achieving quality and coverage objectives.
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams to achieve optimal DFT solutions that meet goals in test time, yield, and defect rates.
  • Leading and mentoring a team of skilled DFT engineers, promoting a collaborative and results-driven environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field, with over 10 years of hands-on experience in DFT for complex digital or SoC circuits.
  • Extensive experience in defining and implementing DFT architectures as a DFT Team Lead on large-scale SoCs.
  • Proficiency with advanced DFT tools and methodologies, including Scan/EDT, Logic BIST, MBIST, ATPG, and JTAG.
  • Strong scripting skills (TCL, Perl, Python), along with familiarity with Tessent DFT tools.
  • A solid understanding of RTL design, physical implementation constraints, and DFT integration.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a proactive and positive approach to leadership.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential.
Why Join?
This role offers a unique opportunity to lead as a DFT Team Lead in a fast-paced, forward-thinking environment. You’ll work on cutting-edge SoCs, collaborating with industry-leading professionals and contributing to the future of digital design. If you’re a DFT Team Lead with a vision for excellence, we encourage you to apply and bring your expertise to a team driving innovation at the forefront of CMOS technology.
