Senior Digital Design Manager

Based in Rome, this is a new opportunity for a Senior Digital Design Manager to join a new and expanding fabless Semiconductor company.

With significant funding behind them, this exciting new IC company has plans to build a brand new hardware team. The Senior Digital Design Manager will head up an ASIC team of circa 15 engineers, and take expansion forward, growing the team to 30+ initially and further beyond. The Senior Digital Design Manager will drive delivery of silicon design projects, from definition through architecture, microarchitecture, SoC design through to produce launch, working closely with firmware/software, verification, and validation teams to ensure optimal design quality.  

As a new start-up, our client is looking for a Digital Design Manager who has the capacity to thrive within a fast-paced and dynamic setting, who is adaptable and has a strong growth mindset.

Experience / requirements include:

• An extensive background within digital SoC / ASIC design, with experience of multiple project development life cycles
• Strong knowledge of the complete digital IC design flow
• Experience managing silicon design teams
• Strong knowledge u-processor architecture, bus architecture
• A great collaborative, team spirit and excellent communication skills
