Senior Electrical Engineer - DC Breaker Design

Responsibilities:

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join one of our clients teams and lead the design of novel high-speed DC breakers. In this role, you will be responsible for rapid prototyping, hardware in the loop testing, contact system design, and interruption tests under different conditions.

The Senior Electrical Engineer will also be responsible for product development and qualification tests.

Essential:

• Master's degree in electrical engineering, physics, or any other relevant field.
• Solid understanding of power electronics and arc physics.
• Experience in designing, testing, and commissioning of electrical breakers.
• Proficient in CAD software, such as Solidworks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a creative and analytical mind.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills (working language).

Preferred:

• Experience with programming languages such as C, Matlab, Plex, Python.
• Good written and spoken German skills.
