Senior Embedded LInux Engineer

New opportunity in central Bristol for a skilled Embedded Linux Engineer to join leading wireless company.  I am seeking a talented Embedded Linux Engineer who can develop, maintain and deliver cross platform linux BSPs for high performance embedded systems and facilitate deployment of cellular infrastructure applications on cloud based platforms.

Suitable applicants for this Embedded Linux Engineer role must have practical experience and knowledge of linux architecture and kernel drivers.  Experience with build systems (Yocto, Buildroot etc) is also needed. Strong embedded C/C++ development skills are essential and you should be fully proficient in design, documentation, implementation, debugging and unit testing of software components of a multi-threaded real-time/embedded system. 

It would be an advantage but not essential to have knowledge or experience with DPDK, Docker, operating K8s based and cloud native deployments and working experience in cloud native platform like AWS EKS & GCP GKE.

This position would suit an Embedded Linux Engineer with strong communication skills, must be an effective team player and be able to work independently in a global multi-site environment.
