Senior Field Application Engineer - Automotive EMEA

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Field Application Engineer (FAE) to join a fabless Semiconductor design company based in Munich.

My client is focused on low-power, high-definition image processing technology for the Automotive industry. To support their EMEA clients, they seek a Senior Field Application Engineer to take on the following role:

• Drive design wins at targeted Automotive customers in the EMEA region. 
• Support pre and post sales activity in Europe
• Advise customers on feasibility, specification and implementation decisions
• Co-develop technical responses to customer RFI / RFQs with marketing & factory experts
• Train customers on development systems / DKs, SDKs and tools 
• Work as the technical mediation between customers and factory team
• Support regular internal communications on key customer activity, identifying obstacles, success criteria, decision makers, timing and critical factors for sourcing. 

The successful Field Application Engineer will have the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineer or similar. 
• Several years of experience within customer facing roles involving embedded SoC semiconductor solutions
• Experience working with customers within the Automotive space 
• Strong communication skills
• Business fluent in English and German
