Senior Field Application Engineer

Based in Munich, our client is looking for a Senior Field Application Engineer with rich experience in the analog IC domain.

Our client is a specialized leader in sensors and power management, and offers solutions such as magnetic sensors, isolators, power supplies and other components. They have offices worldwide, and have exciting plans to significantly expand their presence in Germany, seeking FAE and sales professionals.

The successful Field Application Engineer will be responsible for:

• Conducting customer visits and defining all potential projects
• Providing professional technical support, building a long-term customer relationship through excellent technical communication
• Recommending suitable products with a proactive approach to customers
• Solving customers' technical problems through on-site application support and internal support
• Continuously following up customer project developments, execute business rollout plans with the sales team

Requirements include:

• A Bachelors / Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Several years of experience working as a Field Application Engineer within the Semiconductor / Electronics field
• A background within Analog IC, e.g. Isolators, drivers, sensors, etc.
• Expertise working with industrial and / or automotive applications
• Excellent communication skills in English, German would be preferred
• Willingness to travel
