Senior Hardware Engineer

We are looking for a Hardware Engineer to join an exciting semiconductor company in the Abingdon area, working closely with IC design engineers this role offers the chance to work on cutting-edge technology.

As the Hardware Engineer, you’ll take design specifications for an integrated circuit to generate board requirements and test specifications. Working on mixed-signal and highspeed PCBs, whilst integrating and testing ICs. You'll be responsible for schematic capture, PCB design and layout, as well as testing, and debugging.

Experience required:

• Proven experience working as a Hardware/Electronics Engineer, with prior knowledge of complex PCBs
• Experience with schematic capture, PCB design and layout (ideally using Altium)
• An understanding of both analog, digital and high-speed PCBs
• Experience in the implementation of high-speed memory such as DDR
• Experience using lab testing tools, and capable of debugging hardware
