Working for a major international semiconductor company, I am looking to recruit a Senior SOC Architect.
The applicant must be able to demonstrate significant experience of full chip definition, delivery and end to end design...OR have a strong understanding of hardware-software systems architecture.
Salary is flexible, based on seniority and relevance of experience - circa €80-120k

Key skills / requirements (or a selection of / combination from the below list):
- BSc / MSc / PhD in Micro-electronics, physics, or similar filed
- 10+ years' experience in digital design or architecture of complex SOCs
- Understanding of MCUs Subsystems, Memory Controllers, and memory architectures (e.g., DDR, SRAM, ROM, eFuse, HBM, cache coherency etc).
- Chip architecture incorporating proprietary or 3rd party CPU / GPU / RISC-V processors
- Extensive experience with the Digital ASIC Flow, RTL design, and Debug methodologies (e.g., DFT, JTAG, Scan, BIST).
- Extensive knowledge of SOC architecture, set-up / silicon bring-up, validation and all it's associated processes.
- SOC design, system design, system architecture
- IP selection & integration
- SOC performance & modelling e.g. UML, XML, Matlab, System C
- SOC interconnect protocols - AXI, AMBA, AHB, APB, OCP, STBus, DTL, CHI, CXL
- DSP / signal processing / high-speed communication protocols - serdes, PCIe
- Digital-AMS chip development - digital to analog interfaces
- Functional Safety - ISO26262
- low-power, performance and optimisation / PMIC - power management
- low level software, firmware and embedded requirements - drivers, controllers, RTOS, Linux
