Senior Physical Design Engineer - London

An exciting opportunity for a Physical Design Engineer to join a fabless IP/IC design company looking to grow their Backend team.

 

They are recognised world-class developer of high-speed mixed signal IPs and ASIC custom solutions. They have UK design centre to focus on research and development of customized GPU solutions and have plans to grow this team significantly this year.

 

This role would suit someone who wants to work in a ‘start up’ environment but with the backing of a large global business. 

 

Requirements

 

• Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineer or a related field
• Proven experience in 5+successful tapeouts  
• Experiencing working across the whole flow from RTL2GDSII
• Knowledge of digital hardware descriptive languages such as VHDL or Verilog
• Experience with low power implementation
• Experience with Cadence or Synopsys tool
