Senior PICs Engineer

Great opportunity for a Senior PICs Engineer in Bristol to join a Photonics team that is looking for engineers with strong Photonic Integrated Circuit (PIC) design and verification experience to join a growing department.

Skills Required:

PIC design and validation experience in one or more of the following:

• Developing new and improved chip-scale Photonics devices and circuits
• Leading projects/engineers in a research or industrial environment
• R&D on PICs and photonic devices for quantum and/or optical communications applications
•  On-chip component design, modelling, and chip layout design
• Development of electro-optic testbeds for verifying device and system performance
• Competent in use of photonic design tools such as Lumerical, IPKISS, and/or COMSOL
