Senior ASIC Design Engineer – Cork

Our client is seeking an experienced ASIC Design Engineer to join a market-leading EDA company in Ireland. They are currently recruiting for a number of teams such as UCIe, Ethernet, and DDR all down to company growth.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related subject, strong communication skills, and experience with VHDL or Verilog. As an ASIC Design Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting in the design and development of Application-Specific Integrated Circuits for various electronic devices.

Responsibilities would include:

• Collaborate with senior engineers to design and implement ASIC solutions
• Work on RTL coding, simulation, and verification using VHDL or Verilog
• Assist in the debugging and testing of ASIC designs
• Contribute to the documentation and reporting of ASIC development activities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related subject
• Strong communication skills
• Familiarity with VHDL or Verilog
• Knowledge of ASIC design methodologies and tools is a plus
