Senior Python Software Engineer

I'm currently partnered with a Cambridge based, fabless semiconductor start-up looking for a Senior Python Software Engineer to join the growing team. You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of their software suite designed for performing RF measurements. You will design, develop and maintain software applications in Python and create and manage a GUI for the software suite. The software will interface with various test equipment such as Power Supplies, Network Analysers and Power Meters.

They are looking for an experienced Senior Python Software Engineer who is comfortable being a strong individual contributor. This opportunity will allow someone to have a significant impact on the progress of their products, via their work.

What's required for this Senior Python Software Engineer position?

• Strong Python development skills
• Experience with GUI development frameworks - PyQt, Tkinter etc
• Familiarity with test equipment interfacing and communication protocols
• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineer or similar
• Bonus - Experience with MIPI control interfacing
