Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Are you an experienced Quality Assurance professional looking for an exciting opportunity with a growing company in the satcoms sector?

As the Senior Quality Assurance Engineer you will join a growing team and play a critical role in supporting the Business Improvement Manager in updating and maintaining their Quality Management System. In this role, you will work closely with various departments across the business to implement the Quality Assurance action plan and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Your contributions will be instrumental in ensuring process compliance throughout the organization with the ultimate goal of achieving ISO 9001 certification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement the QA action plan to drive process improvements and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Identify and assess opportunities for process enhancement, efficiency, and effectiveness.
• Work cross-functionally with colleagues from different departments to understand existing processes and drive the implementation of best practices.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to monitor compliance with quality standards.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation related to quality processes and procedures.
• Provide guidance and support to teams to ensure they understand and follow established quality protocols.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence throughout the organization.
• Assist in preparing for ISO 9001 certification and maintaining compliance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience in Quality Assurance, preferably in a senior or lead role.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and quality management principles.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Quality Engineer, Six Sigma) are a plus.
