Responsibilities encompass a range of tasks, including, but not limited to:
- Defining specifications and guiding system-level design for RF/mmWave modules.
- Executing circuit design, layout, and verification processes for RF/mmWave building blocks.
- Performing comprehensive 2D and 3D electromagnetic (EM) simulations to optimize design parameters.
- Thoroughly preparing for measurements to ensure accurate data collection.
The ideal candidate possesses the following qualifications:
- A BSc (Hons) or higher degree (MSc/PhD) in electrical engineering with a specialisation in analog, RF, and mmWave ASIC design.
- Hands-on experience in transistor-level RF/mmWave IC design, showcasing proficiency in advanced CMOS, SOI, and/or SiGe technologies.
- Expertise in design for production and a demonstrated command of leading IC design tools.
- Proven experience in transistor-level layout extraction and verification, electromagnetic modeling, and laboratory work.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as MATLAB and Python.
