Senior Software Manager

An exciting opportunity for a Senior Software Manager has arisen with an industry leading cellular communications company, where you will be in charge of the modem firmware development for future projects focusing on 5G, based in Paris.

As the Senior Software Manager, you will lead and grow a team of 20 engineers, focussing on ensuring the availability of a mature software development and validation infrastructure and delivering global products for 5G future releases. You will also participate in the product and technology roadmap within the system department.

You will commit to a hybrid working model, with at least 3 days onsite required.

Experience for the Senior Software Manager includes:

• Embedded software development experience
• Team management experience, including offshore teams
• Knowledge of wireless technologies ( 2G, 3G, 3GPP, 4G, 5G, 5G-NR ) and the wireless market
• Experience with C / C++ programming.
