SoC Lead

Our client, a young and rapidly expanding Semiconductor company is recruiting for a SoC Lead to join them in Lausanne, Switzerland. 

Our client is an exciting and highly successful organisation leading the way in High-Speed Communications. As they continue to grow in several international locations, they now seek a SoC Lead to take on a very senior and influential role which is critical to the business.

The role of SoC Lead will be one of matrixed management; working with multiple groups including customers, the Chip Architecture and design teams as well as Sales and Marketing to develop an architecture that is realisable to schedule. The SoC Lead will carry out feasibility studies to balance the realities of project schedule, cost and risk, and will have responsibility across all phases of the project life cycle. The SoC Lead will be a key decision maker and will drive design reviews to closure.

Key requirements include:

• A strong background within SoC development, with a good appreciation of the full digital design flow from architecture through to tape-out
• Excellent communication skills, and an ability to work well with multiple international groups
• An ability to lead and influence team members in a matrix organisation setup, that is diverse and multi-site
• A keen interest to work for a young high-tech scale up, offering exciting opportunities for future career development
