Software Architect

This leading developer of automotive software and systems is seeking a Software Architect for their embedded software development group based in Dortmund. The Software Architect will be working with a team of highly motivated Software, Systems and Hardware Engineers delivering embedded software and systems including sensors, communications and safety critical to the automotive industry. The Software Architect will be responsible for developing new software architectures and modifying existing architectures including making correct decisions on key architecture trade offs etc.

Your skills and background will include developing bare-metal and embedded real time software in C and C++ aimed at the automotive industry. You will have an in-depth knowledge of 16/32 bit Microcontrollers with and without real time operating systems. Coupled with this you will be able to demonstrate a successful track record developing and modifying embedded software architectures. Exposure to Autosar, A-Spice, Lin, CAN etc. is beneficial as is some German language capability.
